How to apply for a grant

The first round of grant applications for 2010 has now closed.

The grant hand over function will take place on Thursday, 15 July, 2010.

Grants have been capped at $1,000 each.

The next round of applications for this year will open in October. The grant guidelines and the grant application form are available here.

Applications are considered by our grants sub-committee and are shortlisted for consideration by the full Board. Successful organisations will be required to promote the TCE and are invited in their applications to propose how this assistance can be provided.

Organisations applying for funding are required to provide profit and loss statements and balance sheets for the last financial year when they submit their applications.

All current grant applicants will be notified soon of the outcome of their applications. They will be required to send a representative to the grants handover function.

Preference will be given to projects that support:

•Community facilities/projects.
•Youth projects.
•Family facilities/projects.
•Senior citizens facilities/projects.
•Recreational projects

Health and well-being activities and facilities.

We will also give preference to organisations that demonstrate financial capability and the capacity to deliver the applicable project.
